The Diploma of Hospitality Management reflects the role of highly skilled senior operators who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with managerial and industry knowledge.
 
The qualification provides a pathway to work in the industry sectors as departmental or higher management roles. The qualification also provides skills in small business management which is relevant to the Accommodation industry and streams - 
  • Front Office Manager
  • Motel Manager
  • Function / Events Manager
  • Executive Housekeeper
  • Food and beverage Manager.
 
The qualification consists of the following –
  • 13 Core units
  • 15 Elective units.
 
Course Duration – 2 – 3 years.
 
The delivery of training can be flexible with the following methods –
  • Classroom based.
  • On the job training and assessment.
  • Certain units online.
  • Distance education.
